Change Lending and Framework Homeownership Launch CDFI-Compliant Course for Future Homebuyers

Change Lending and Framework®  Homeownership are proud to announce the launch of the Change Lending’s Future Homebuyer Course, an innovative educational program designed to provide Americans with the essential knowledge to pursue their dreams of homeownership safely and responsibly. The course empowers users to make informed decisions as they progress on their path toward homeownership.

The Change Lending’s Future Homebuyer Course has been designed to meet the United States Department of the Treasury Community Development Financial Institution’s (CDFI) Fund’s new rules relating to the provision of community development services online, including that the program be interactive, structured, well developed, and able to measure the knowledge gained by its users.  The Change Lending’s Future Homebuyer Course prepares potential homeowners for homeownership and helps them gain the knowledge necessary to safely and responsibly access home mortgage financing in the future. The Change Lending’s Future Homebuyer Course is FREE for potential homeowners who seek to qualify for Change Lending’s mortgage loans.

Recent survey findings from Framework revealed that 63% of homebuyers who completed the course at the time of their home purchase wished they had accessed this valuable information earlier in their homebuying journey. In response, Change Lending and Framework partnered to develop the Change Lending’s Future Homebuyer Course, offering insights on creditworthiness, financial preparedness, and alternative mortgage options. By equipping users with this information earlier – whether they are ready to buy now or not – Change Lending and Frameworks aim to significantly increase the value and impact for future homebuyers.

The Change Lending’s Future Homebuyer Course marks a transformative approach to how potential homeowners consider credit, renting, and homeownership and aims to equip them with the financial literacy necessary to make informed choices long before they embark on their homebuying journey.
