Framework Partners with Community Development Partnership

Apr 5 2024

Framework proudly expands access to its tech-enabled, homeowner sustainability platform for Cape Cod residents as part of Cape Cod Community Development Partnership’s (CDP) new expanded housing program across six towns in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

CDP is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating and maintaining affordable housing for the people of Cape Cod. Framework’s homeownership platform will enable CDP to nurture and support sustainable homeownership by deepening homeowner knowledge about buying and owning a home. Framework’s intuitive and convenient platform means CDP can efficiently and effectively scale homeownership support to their clients across six towns in Cape Cod.

  • Since our founding over 11 years ago, Framework has been focused on helping our network of community-focused partners scale their reach for homeownership education and creation of first-time, first-generation homeowners. We’re honored to be chosen as CDP’s partner in helping take their successful in-person homeownership workshop model and scale it to reach more prospective homebuyers via our online homeownership education and sustainability platform.  We can’t wait to see how this partnership grows to support the community of Cape Cod.”

With a dedicated platform that provides English and Spanish homebuyer education, CDP adds a trusted solution used by 1.5 million homeowners, to help achieve their goal of building a community of diverse individuals that can afford to live, work, and thrive in the Lower Cape. Many of the people who seek affordable housing in the Lower Cape are employed in essential service sectors that do not provide a salary necessary to be able to afford housing on Cape Cod, including teachers, first responders and nurses. Providing a platform to support more sustainable homeownership means CDP can support a stable, thriving community with mortgage-ready homebuyers in need of affordable housing.

  • “We are thankful for our partnership with Framework. Their tools help ensure that our clients who face obstacles such as technology, transportation, childcare, and inflexible work schedules have access to dependable information and the knowledge they require to thrive with dignity, equity, and ease.”

    CDP Housing Advocacy Program Manager

In addition to growing a diverse community, CDP also nurtures small business growth, facilitate collaborations with businesses, non-profit organizations, and government partners, and promote and manage affordable housing. By working closely with these businesses, organizations, and partners, CDP has established a strong community that encourages the families to thrive and create long-term prosperity.

Since CDP was established well over 30 years ago, they have supported their mission by adapting to the shifting economic and demographic landscape of the Cape Cod area and maintained their commitment to strengthening the local economy by:

  • Developed, owned, manages 100 affordable & community housing rental units.
  • Provided assistance or loan capital to 2,500+ locally owned small businesses
  • Created over 340+ jobs since 2014

Together, Framework and CDP are ready to make an even greater impact on the Cape Cod housing and economic landscape.
