In 2012, Housing Partnership Network (HPN) and one of its network members, Minnesota Homeownership Center (MNHOC), partnered to further meet the needs of first-time homebuyers and homeowners to ensure they were educated and supported in their homeownership journey. Together, they founded Framework Homeownership, the comprehensive online homeownership education platform that serves homebuyers and homeowners with reliable content, resources, and tools focused on understanding the homebuying process and the wealth-building opportunities of homeownership.
Housing Partnership Network Becomes Sole Owner of Framework Homeownership
As a continuation of Framework’s recent momentum and plans for future growth, HPN has acquired Minnesota Homeownership’s 50% ownership interest in Framework Homeownership. HPN now becomes the sole owner of Framework and will leverage its national platform to to help enhance Framework’s comprehensive homeownership content and tech-enabled platform.
“The critical mission of Framework will continue and strengthen as a result of this mutual agreement among the founding partners,” says Framework board chair Mary Tingerthal.
Since its founding, Framework Homeownership has served over 1.5 million learners and has continued to evolve, expand, and respond to consumers and its 130+ homeownership partners that rely on its platform in the ever-changing housing industry. Framework is committed to meeting its mission of actively reducing the homeownership gap by preparing homeowners and homebuyers for responsible and sustainable homeownership.
