Omar joined Framework Homeownership in 2021 and became Chief Executive Officer and President in 2022, bringing an extensive background that spans housing & real estate finance, technology, and community development. Prior to Framework, Omar was a founding executive and Chief Revenue Officer of Stackfolio, an online marketplace and data research platform for loan trading between financial institutions, until its successful sale to Jack Henry & Associates. He also held roles at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta and the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York. Omar earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and computer information systems from the University of Miami and his MBA from Georgia State University.
Omar believes homeownership offers life-changing stability and opportunity to build wealth. It’s with that belief that Omar drives to find ways to create scale through technology and the use of data to help more organizations serve families like his own. And Omar’s impact doesn’t stop there. Omar is committed to work beyond the housing industry and works with community organizations that support underserved children and families disproportionately impacted by societal changes. Omar is a board member for the Latino Community Fund of Georgia and Soccer in the Streets.
And where is home for Omar? Omar lives in Atlanta with his wife Ericka, his daughter Sophia, his son Nicolas, and their pup Coco.
