Omar joined Framework Homeownership in 2022 as VP of Business Development and Partnerships and became Chief Executive Officer and President in 2023, bringing an extensive background in the financial and technology sectors with him. Prior to Framework, Omar was a founding executive and Chief Revenue Officer of Stackfolio, an online marketplace and data research platform for loan trading between financial institutions, until its successful sale to Jack Henry & Associates. He has also worked at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta and the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York. Omar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and computer information systems from the University of Miami and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University.

Omar believes homeownership offers life-changing stability and opportunity to build wealth. It’s that belief that drives Omar to find ways to create scale through technology and the use of data to help more organizations serve families like his own. And Omar’s impact doesn’t stop there. Omar cares deeply about working with organizations that support underserved children and families disproportionately impacted by societal changes. Omar is a board member for the Latino Community Fund of Georgia and Soccer in the Streets.

And where is home for Omar? Omar lives in Atlanta with his wife Ericka, his daughter Sophia, his son Nicolas, and their pup Blaze.
